ABOUT THE WORK

Commissioned in Japan, the work was installed for many years on a building in Shibuya-Ku, Tokyo. Three bronze elements were mounted on the exterior, street-facing side, and three on the interior, garden-facing side.

While the architectural plans include the dimensions of each bronze, they do not prescribe a fixed configuration. According to Pomodoro, the six elements can be installed in various arrangements, indoors or outdoors.

Signed and dated “Arnaldo Pomodoro, 1990/92” on the upper part of element measuring 560 x 170 cm.
